Hotel Reception

Designed to provide hotel guests with information relating to the hotel, including promotions on the facilities available, the current foreign exchange rates provided by the hotel, the time in various cities around the world and a message from the manager. The foreign exchange rates are provided by an external CSV file that can be edited by hotel staff, and the manager message is retrieved from a text file edited by the manager.

Sports Bar

This display layout includes a live TV picture obtained from a cable TV source, an RSS feed from the ESPN website and a menu that reads information a local CSV file. The entire display is framed with a red background image to support the branding of the sports bar.

Bookstore

This bookstore display is designed to catch the eye of passers by and promote new books by highlighting the cover, the title, the name of the author and a very short description of the book. The display also provides some directional information. A unique feature of this display is the inclusion of MP3 audio files by displaying the album cover, title, artist and duration of the current song. The audio is heard by the patrons who can now easily identify the music playing.
